More About Dr. Sarah
Dr. Sarah Houhoulis, DC
Dr. Sarah Houhoulis studied biology and psychology at James Madison University before completing her doctorate degree of chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. This is when Dr. Sarah fell in love with powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting, which she still uses in education and rehab exercise programs for patients. Dr. Sarah currently competes in USA Weightlifting and the Drug-Tested International Powerlifting League and holds the national bench press records in the 132lb. and 148lb. weight classes. She also loves to hulahoop and dance whenever she can.
Dr. Sarah’s love for research started in the biopsychology labs at JMU. She is constantly taking continuing education courses in pelvic and sexual health, nutrition, counseling, strength and conditioning, exercise science, chiropractic and physical therapy.
